Our rope is more than just a string of lights. It's a modern lighting solution where LEDs are integrated into a flexible, durable rope. The result is a luminous rope that can be bent, wrapped, and tensioned. The original SUNNYSIDE LEUCHTTAU stands for long-lasting quality, outdoor resilience, and cozy light.
In addition to various rope colors, we have developed two variants specifically for use in camping. There is the LEUCHTTAU in a six-meter version, ideal for hammocks, as a clothesline, or for 360-degree awnings. Or the LEUCHTTAU TENSIONING SET, which was designed for storm-proof tensioning of awnings. With our 6-meter rope, you can choose from Warm White, Afterglow, and Green. The tensioning set is available in Warm White and Afterglow. What both variants have in common are the special functions.
What makes our Leuchttau so special
1. Flexibility
The Leuchttau can be effortlessly wrapped around awnings, poles or branches, hung up or stretched. It works horizontally just as well as vertically and adapts to any environment – whether van, tent or garden.
2. Functionality
The Leuchttau has the full functionality of a rope. You can knot it anywhere, attach it, and load it with up to 150 kg. The fabric is super robust, outdoor-friendly, and UV-resistant. All ropes come with a carabiner for strain relief and an integrated line tensioner for length adjustment.
3. Space-saving & easy to store
After use, the Leuchttau can be simply rolled up and stowed away. Our Leuchttau comes in a stylish dry bag, in which you can not only transport it. This can also be wonderfully used to hang your power bank waterproof outdoors. No more cable clutter - ideal for camping, van life and travel.
4. Lighting where it's needed
Most campers will know the feeling: in the evenings and at night, it's all too easy to trip over the guy ropes of your own awning or your neighbors' awning.
5. Expandability
Our Leuchttau is equipped with a Waterproof connector (2-pin, outdoor standard) to which not only the controller can be connected, but also many of our other products. For example, two ropes can be connected for awning tensioning (tensioning set). But also our fairy lights Ellie or extension cables to the next socket.

How the Leuchttau gets its power
The Leuchttau has a USB-C plug that you can connect to any standard power bank or power outlet. The product itself does not have a built-in battery. And that's exactly what makes it so flexible.
When you connect your power bank, it acts as a battery. But you don't have to dismantle the entire rope every time the power bank is empty; you can simply unplug it and conveniently recharge it.
If you use a plug in your camper or another socket of your choice, you can simply use our cables for extension. Then you can extend the Leuchttau as much as you like.
