SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FIRE STARTER

Warnings and Safety Instructions for the FOREVER FIRE Firelighter (Reusable Fire Starter with Special Burning Oil).

  1. Use according to instructions

    Use the firelighter to easily start your next campfire or BBQ. Use the item exclusively for its intended purpose and according to the manufacturer's instructions. The firelighter must be completely burned down before placing food on the grill.

  2. Key Hazard Characteristics

    The following hazards must be observed when using and storing the fire starter and its associated burning oil:

    • Fire Hazard: The contents are flammable.

    • Health Hazard: May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.

    • Skin Irritation: Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.

    • Risk of Confusion: The bottle must not be stored together with food or drinks.

  3. Composition / Ingredients

    The system consists of a sponge stone (burning cone) and a special burning oil with the following components:

    • Contains distillates (petroleum).

    • Contains hydrocarbons, C10-C13, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, naphthenes, <2% aromatics.

  4. First Aid Measures

    Should accidents occur during handling, the following immediate measures must be taken:

    • If swallowed: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. DO NOT induce vomiting.

    • General Note: If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.

  5. Fire Protection Measures

    To prevent fires and accidents:

    • Never spray the special burning oil directly into embers.

    • Always allow the burning cone to cool completely after use before placing it back into the oil. Always keep the bottle tightly closed.

  6. Measures in Case of Unintended Release

    Spilled burning oil should be absorbed with suitable absorbent material and disposed of according to local regulations. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

  7. Handling and Storage

    • Storage: Keep locked up. Do not store with food and drinks (risk of confusion).

    • Child Safety: Keep out of reach of children.

    • Handling: Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas.

  8. Exposure Controls and Monitoring

    For frequent contact, wearing protective gloves is recommended to prevent skin dryness.

  9. Physical and Chemical Properties

    Liquid special burning oil and solid, highly absorbent sponge stone (burning cone).

  10. Stability and Reactivity

    Stable under proper storage. Highly flammable upon contact with ignition sources.

  11. Toxicological Information

    Aspiration hazard: May be fatal if swallowed. Degreases the skin.

  12. Environmental Information

    Do not allow to enter sewage systems or surface waters. Chemical components can have long-term harmful effects on water bodies.

  13. Disposal Considerations

    Contents and container must be disposed of in accordance with local, regional, national, or international regulations.
