Warning and safety instructions for a USB-C light rope (weatherproof, but not the USB-C connector and the dimmer)

1. Water and weather resistance :
• The light rope is weatherproof and suitable for outdoor use, but only the light part itself. The USB-C connector and the dimmer are not weatherproof and should be protected from moisture, rain and direct sunlight. (Use the dry bag provided)
• Make sure that the USB-C connector and the dimmer are always connected in a dry, protected place (use the designated dry bag).
2. Wiring and connection :
• Only use compatible USB-C cables and adapters that are suitable for use with the light rope.
• Make sure that the USB-C connector is always correctly and securely inserted into the corresponding socket to avoid short circuits or malfunctions.
3. Overload and overvoltage :
• Do not overload the power source to which the USB-C light rope is connected. Only use adapters and chargers that are approved for the corresponding currents and voltages.
• Make sure the dimmer is suitable for the power source used to avoid overheating or damage.
4. Use in humid environments :
• The light rope can be used in damp environments (e.g. in light rain or fog) as long as the USB-C connector and the dimmer do not come into contact with water. (Use the dry bag provided)
• Make sure that the dimmer and the USB-C connector are protected from direct contact with water or moisture by using the provided dry bag

• When not in use, store the USB-C light rope and electrical components (especially the USB-C connector and dimmer) in a dry, well-ventilated place.
• The USB-C connector and the dimmer must not be stored in damp or extremely hot environments.
2. Cleaning and maintenance :
• The luminous rope can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or sharp objects.
• The USB-C connector and the dimmer should only be wiped dry to avoid damage to the electrical components.
3. Avoiding mechanical damage :
• Make sure that the USB-C light cable and the electrical components are protected from impacts, crushing and other mechanical stress.
• The dimmer and the USB-C connector are sensitive components that can be damaged if handled improperly.
4. Emergency measures in case of defects :
• If there is visible damage to the USB-C connector, dimmer or cable, stop using the product as this could result in electrical hazards or malfunctions.
• If the product is defective, have it repaired only by a qualified technician.

These instructions will help to extend the life of the light rope and ensure safety when handling the product.
