Rotes Licht, das so genannte Amber-Licht zieht tatsächlich weniger Insekten an als beispielsweise weißes oder blaues Licht. Das hängt mit der Art und Weise zusammen, wie Insekten Licht wahrnehmen.
Viele Insektenarten sind besonders empfindlich gegenüber kurzwelligen Lichtanteilen, vor allem im ultravioletten und blauen Bereich des Spektrums. Diese Wellenlängen wirken stark anziehend, da sie von Insekten gut wahrgenommen werden und häufig eine Rolle bei der nächtlichen Orientierung spielen. Weißes Licht enthält viele dieser kurzwelligen Anteile und zieht daher vergleichsweise viele Insekten an.
Rotes Licht oder Amber-Licht hingegen besitzt eine deutlich längere Wellenlänge und liegt am anderen Ende des sichtbaren Spektrums. Viele Insekten können rotes Licht nur eingeschränkt wahrnehmen oder reagieren deutlich weniger darauf. Es gibt zudem Hinweise darauf, dass einige Insektenarten rote Wellenlängen gar nicht sehen können, da ihre Augen für diese Frequenzen nicht empfindlich sind.
Aus diesem Grund zieht rotes Licht insgesamt weniger Insekten an. Das macht FLOPPY mit der Lichtfarbe Amber zu einer besonders insektenfreundlichen Wahl – gut für dich und schonend für die Insektenwelt.

- Battery Safety & Charging:Only charge the lantern with the included or a high-quality USB-C cable from a suitable 5V power source.Do not charge unattended. Only charge in a dry environment.If there are signs of overheating, deformation (swelling), or odor, immediately disconnect the device from power and stop using it.
- Moisture & Water: The lantern is not waterproof. Protect it from rain, direct moisture, and high humidity. Ensure the device is completely dry before charging.
- Fire Safety: Do not operate the lantern near flammable materials or on heat-sensitive surfaces.
- Child Safety: Ensure that children do not play with small parts (such as the USB-C port).
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods. To maintain battery life, the lantern should be recharged approximately every 3 months.

We ship daily Monday - Saturday with DHL or Deutsche Post.
The delivery time with DHL takes on average 2-4 working days. To neighbouring countries the delivery time is between 4-6 working days.
