Pleasant light, fewer insects and the full functionality of a rope: this is our newest member of the Camplight family. The light rope is not only weatherproof and can hold up to 150kg , but also provides you with light. Whether you need to tighten down the awning or the awning or hang up the laundry. Thanks to the light, stumbling at night is now a thing of the past.

The red rope has the advantage that it keeps up to 90% of insects away from you. The rope is 6m long and can be dimmed continuously using the controller. You can make the rope light up using a USB-C plug, for example on a power bank, a cell phone adapter or a built-in socket in a camper or whatever.

For storage or to protect the power bank from rain, the rope comes in a dry bag.

The rope comes in two variants: warm white and red-orange.

Red light actually attracts fewer insects than, for example, white or blue light, and this has to do with the way insects perceive light.

Insects, especially nocturnal insects such as mosquitoes, moths and other flying species, are very sensitive to certain wavelengths of light, especially in the ultraviolet and blue parts of the spectrum. These wavelengths are particularly attractive to them because many insect species respond to light sources that are important for navigation at night. The light we perceive as "white" or "blue" contains many of these wavelengths that are visible to insects.

Red light, on the other hand, has a longer wavelength and is at the other end of the visible spectrum. Insects often cannot see red light well or are less responsive to it. There is also evidence that some insects cannot perceive red wavelengths at all because their eyes are not sensitive to these frequencies.

Therefore, red light attracts fewer insects, making the Afterglow light an insect-friendly choice.

• Betreiben Sie das Tau nicht in feuchter Umgebung, wenn Stecker oder Dimmer nicht sicher geschützt sind.

Elektrische Sicherheit:

• Nur an standardisierten 5V USB-C Stromquellen betreiben. Achten Sie auf eine ausreichende Stromstärke der Powerbank oder des Netzteils.
• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht weiter, wenn Kabel, Dimmer oder der USB-Stecker sichtbare Schäden aufweisen (Gefahr von Kurzschluss oder Brand).

• Brandschutz & Überhitzung: Achten Sie darauf, dass der Dimmer während des Betriebs nicht abgedeckt wird, um eine ausreichende Luftzirkulation zu gewährleisten.
• Wartung: Reinigen Sie das Tau nur mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch. Stecker und Dimmer dürfen nur trocken gereinigt werden.
• Kindersicherheit: Aufgrund der Länge des Seils besteht Strangulationsgefahr. Von Kindern und Haustieren fernhalten.
