Ideal for guy-roping and securely fixing your awning. The two 3.5-meter long illuminated ropes can be connected with the 2.5-meter long extension. Each illuminated rope can withstand up to 150 kg, is weather-resistant, and made from UV-resistant material – perfect for outdoor use.
The warm white lighting of our illuminated guy-rope set not only creates a cozy atmosphere and prevents tripping at night but also allows you to reliably secure your awning against wind and weather.
The red rope also has the advantage of keeping up to 90% of insects away.
Each rope is 3.5 meters long and can be continuously dimmed via the included controller. You illuminate the rope with a USB-C plug, for example, connected to a power bank, a phone adapter, or a permanently installed socket in a camper, etc.
For storage or rain protection of the power bank, you receive a Drybag.
Red light does indeed attract fewer insects than, for example, white or blue light. This is related to the way insects perceive light.
Many insect species are particularly sensitive to short-wavelength light components, especially in the ultraviolet and blue parts of the spectrum. These wavelengths are highly attractive because they are easily perceived by insects and often play a role in nocturnal orientation. White light also contains many of these short-wavelength components and therefore attracts a comparatively large number of insects.
Red light, on the other hand, has a significantly longer wavelength and is at the other end of the visible spectrum. Many insects can only perceive red light to a limited extent or react significantly less to it. There is also evidence that some insect species cannot see red wavelengths at all, as their eyes are not sensitive to these frequencies.
For this reason, red light attracts fewer insects overall. This makes the Leuchttau Afterglow a particularly insect-friendly choice – good for you and gentle on the insect world.

- Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch: Dieses Leuchttau ist für Dekorations- und Beleuchtungszwecke im Außen- und Innenbereich konzipiert. Es ist kein Spielzeug.
Wetterfestigkeit & Feuchtigkeit:
- Nur das Leuchttau selbst ist wetterfest. Der USB-C Stecker und der Dimmer sind NICHT wetterfest.
- Diese Komponenten müssen zwingend vor Regen, Nässe und hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit geschützt werden. Verwenden Sie hierfür immer den vorgesehenen Drybag.
- Betreiben Sie das Tau nicht in feuchter Umgebung, wenn Stecker oder Dimmer nicht sicher geschützt sind.
Elektrische Sicherheit:
- Nur an standardisierten 5V USB-C Stromquellen betreiben. Achten Sie auf eine ausreichende Stromstärke der Powerbank oder des Netzteils.
- Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht weiter, wenn Kabel, Dimmer oder der USB-Stecker sichtbare Schäden aufweisen (Gefahr von Kurzschluss oder Brand).
- Brandschutz & Überhitzung: Achten Sie darauf, dass der Dimmer während des Betriebs nicht abgedeckt wird, um eine ausreichende Luftzirkulation zu gewährleisten.
- Wartung: Reinigen Sie das Tau nur mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch. Stecker und Dimmer dürfen nur trocken gereinigt werden.
- Kindersicherheit: Aufgrund der Länge des Seils besteht Strangulationsgefahr. Von Kindern und Haustieren fernhalten.

- CE-Kennzeichnung: Dieses Produkt entspricht den geltenden europäischen Richtlinien.
